Customer account code (CCC)

Number that precisely identifies each bank account. It consists of twenty digits, divided into four groups: the first four digits identify the financial institution; the second, also four digits, the office where the account is registered; the third consists of two control digits; and the last ten digits indicate the account number. This code is being replaced by the International Bank Account Number (IBAN).
